PEG-4 Polyglyceryl-2 Stearate (100%). Hostacerin® DGSB by Clariant is a non-ionic co-emulsifier, oil in water (O/W) emulsifier.
  • It is a liquid crystal and shows good compatibility with alcohol and electrolytes.
  • Exhibits viscosity increasing properties and creamy texture.
  • It is made by condensation of glycerine to diglycerine and esterfication of diglycerine with stearic acid followed by ethoxylation with ethylene oxide.
  • Provides medium spread, skin- and after feel.
  • Hostacerin® DGSB is used in creams, lotions, cosmetics, sun portection, face- and body care products.
  • Listed with REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006.
