Benzophenone-4. Eclipsogen® BP4 by Clariant is a water-soluble, photostable UV filter. It provides broadband UV absorption (UVA II and UVB). It is commonly used as a color protectant.

It forms a protective layer on hair and helps to prevent hair damage due to UV exposure, such as color-fading & dryness.
Eclipsogen® BP4 is used in sun care, liquid soap, hair styling, shampoo and shower products.
It is globally approved.
