Aristoflex® AVC

Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer. Aristoflex® AVC by Clariant acts as a rheology modifier. It is an EO-free, cold-processable, synthetic polymer used as a gelling agent for aqueous systems and as a texturizer & thickener for oil-in-water emulsions.
  • It exhibits good stabilizing and emulsifying properties.
  • It provides emolliency, improved spreading, fast breaking on skin and fresh & light skin feel.
  • It is a pre-neutralized ingredient which offers excellent yield value, corresponding to superior stability even in the absence of additional emulsifier.
  • It shows good compatibility with organic solvents (ethanol, acetone) and is stable towards UV radiation & high shear stress.
  • Aristoflex® AVC is used in color cosmetics, hair styling, sun protection products, O/W emulsions, clear aqueous gels, emulsifier-free cream gels, lotions and milk.
  • It is Vegan and Halal certified.
