Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid. CHEMSOL HS by Chemspec Chemicals acts as a broad spectrum UV-B filter. It absorbs UV-B rays in the range of 290-340 nm and facilitates good incorporation into high SPF skin care and sunscreen products where light, non-greasy feel is required. CHEMSOL HS finds application in formulating high SPF sun creams, lotions and daily skin care creams. It has a shelf-life of 2 years.
