Synthetic Mica (and) Triethoxycaprylylsilane. Mica C-OTS by CHEMLAND is a triethoxycaprylylsilane coated powder. It is ethyl functionalized silicone oil that can be coated to inorganic powders at relatively lower concentrations. It makes rough feeling of a powder smooth. It is not easily removed by sweat and sebum. It exhibits water repellency, light and silky feeling. It is widely used in formulation of powder and emulsification. Mica C-OTS can be dispersed in silicone oils such as cyclomethicones and ester oils.
