SENSICARE® C 2200

Sodium Benzoate. SENSICARE® C 2200 by Chemipol acts as a preservative and antimicrobial. It is an esterified linear alcohol that has a faster biodegradation. It boosts and optimizes the microbial control by modifying the surface tension of the cell membrane and activating the preservative substances. It may also enhance other parameters such as the moisturizing / emollient properties, wetting properties and distribution on the skin, solubility properties oil/emulsifiers. It is cost-effective and has low concentration of biocide substances. Also provides good toxicological profile and better ecological profile. It shows an excellent compatibility with the most usual components in all type of cosmetic care formulations (direct emulsions, inverse emulsions and soluble products). It is particularly suitable for gentle protection of acid pH personal care preparations. SENSICARE® C 2200 is used in deodorizing formulations, in leave-on and rinse-off products.
