It is derived from glycerin, a plentiful natural product, and a biofuel bi-product, ensuring a cheap and ready source of feedstock. It is active against a wide range of bacteria, yeast, molds, acne and dandruff causing organisms. The product is compatible with most other cosmetic ingredients and is stable & non-volatile giving it a broad range of uses. Used in toothpastes, foot care, antidandruff products, deodorants and antibacterial wipes.
