Optigel® WX

Bentonite and Xanthan Gum. Optigel® WX by BYK acts as a thickening agent, stabilizer and a film former. Pigments and sunscreen actives remain dispersed in the product and are evenly applied to the skin which helps to maintain a high SPF. It shows reduction of running and dripping of products. Due to the uniform shape of the platelets and their ability to glide easily over one another, it adds smoothness, improves lubricity without being sticky and offers absorption of sebum and body secretions, also found to be soothing to the skin and compatible with anionic, non-ionic amphoteric surfactants. Optigel® WX is used in creams, lotions & anti-wrinkle lotions, depilatories, facial masks, shower gels, sunscreens, shampoos, make-up and eye cosmetics.
