Garamite® 7305

Benzalkonium Sepiolite (and) Benzalkonium Montmorillonite. Garamite® 7305 by BYK acts as a thickening agent. It is developed using Rockwood's patented Mixed Mineral Thixotrope (MMT) technology. Uses a non-animal derived surface treatment. Exhibits a very unique rheology profile compared to other thickening additives. Very high low-shear viscosity can be achieved by incorporating it into formulations which results in outstanding anti-settling and anti-syneresis properties. However, when a shear force is applied, the viscosity is quickly reduced which allows for excellent application properties and skin feel. May be used in all medium to high polarity organic fluid systems. Garamite® 7305 is used in sun care, skin care products and nail lacquers.
