Garamite® 7303

Quaternium-90 Sepiolite (and) Quaternium-90 Montmorillonite. Garamite® 7303 by BYK acts as a thickening agent. It is developed using Rockwood's patented Mixed Mineral Thixotrope (MMT) technology. It uses a non-animal derived surface treatment. It exhibits a very unique rheology profile compared to other thickening additives. Its very high low-shear viscosity can be achieved by incorporating it into formulations which results in outstanding anti-settling and anti-syneresis properties. However, when a shear force is applied, the viscosity is quickly reduced which allows for excellent application properties and skin feel. Garamite® 7303 is used in all low to medium polarity organic fluid systems. Used in antiperspirants, lipsticks, color cosmetics, and foundations.
