Microcristallina Cera. It modifies oil retention, viscosity, cohesion, opacity, lubrication, spreading, gloss, thermal stability, emolliency and film-forming. It is a combination of branched and straight chain saturated hydrocarbons with carbon numbers greater than 35 obtained from petroleum distillation residual heavy fractions, by solvent separation, refining and hydrogenation. Used in lipsticks, mascara, eye & lip products, body emulsions, balms, pomades, cold creams, depilatory waxes, hair styling, sun care creams and emulsions.
