Octyldodecanol (78-80%) (and) Aluminum Magnesium Hydroxide Stearate (17-23%). Gilugel® EUG by BK Giulini acts in the oil phase as an emulsion stabilizer and thickener. For light emulsions it is recommended to use light oils and esters with good spreadability. Emulsions are normally stabilized with waxes, which tend to have an unpleasant, sticky skin feel. Gilugel® EUG is used in various cosmetics and personal care products.
