Biosil Basics® C-38

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Biosil
Octyldodecyl Isostearate. Biosil Basics® C-38 by Biosil Technologies provides the elegant rich texture desired in luxury skin creams and lotions. Spreadability is a key attribute when developing color cosmetics and skin care products with targeted active ingredients. It helps with the dispersion of such materials allowing the active ingredients to have optimum activity. Offers fast dry down and a non-greasy after feel on skin. It is thermally stable and pH stable. Can also eliminate the drag and tacky sensation of emulsions creating slip and mobility. Has extraordinary liquidity at low temperatures and good solvent properties. It also delivers velvety cushion in oil and water emulsions. This branched ester is rapidly absorbed into the skin and leaves skin feeling silky smooth and soft. Biosil Basics® C-38 is used in hair care, skin care and color cosmetics.
