Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil (and) Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil. Acts as a moisturizing active. It is made with hemp seed oil and various hydrogenated vegetable oils. It has high content of essential fatty acids, which helps the action of hydro lipid coat, thereby reducing Trans Epidermal Water Loss (TEWL). Possesses one of the highest PUFA contents of all the natural oils. It provides the four essential fatty acids beneficial to the skin; LA, GLA, LNA and SDA (one of the highest ERA contents). It is absorbed quickly into the skin and exhibits a relatively dry feel. It provides excellent lubricity without being greasy. In cosmetic preparations, the feel and behavior of Hempseed Butter is very similar to that of shea butter (butyrospermum parkii). Used in body care, soaps, facial creams, lotions, color cosmetics, after-sun and sunscreens products.
