Technical Datasheet | Supplied by BioAmber
Succinic Acid. Bio-Succinic Acid acts as an emollient and surfactant. It is a direct substitute for petroleum-derived succinic acid. It is a naturally-occurring di-carboxylic acid composed of four carbon atoms. It can be found in plant and animal tissues. It improves, moisturize the skin and allow easier spreading. Bio-Succinic Acid has earned the USDA bio-preferred designation and is found to be applicable in bath soaps, blushers, eye shadows, face powders & foundations, lipsticks, moisturizers, nail polish removers, shampoos & hair conditioners and skin care products.
