Ethylhexyl Ethylhexanoate. BergaCare 88 by Berg Schmidt acts as an emollient. This emollient is a refatting agent, i.e. an ingredient of a cosmetic formulation that provides the skin with the fat it needs & helps it to stay soft & supple. BergaCare 88 also reduces irritation and drying out by improving the skin barrier. it provides medium to high spreadibility and medium polarity and also possesses skin conditioning properties. It is used in cosmetics for care of the skin, hair, eyes and lips and in sun protection products as well as decorative cosmetics.
