DMDM Hydantoin. BELGUARD DMDMH 2000 by Belchem Industries is an antimicrobial preservative. This grade is 1,3-dimethylol-5,5-dimethyl hydantoin. It is ultra-low free formaldehyde and is compatible with anionic, cationic and ionic system. BELGUARD DMDMH 2000 is used in the cosmetic industry and found in products like shampoos, hair gels, skin care and personal care applications. Its shelf life is 1 year from the date of manufacturing.
