Keratolite™ by BASF is an exfoliating agent. It is a gentle AHA that acts without stinging the skin. Due to the combination with almond proteins, malic acid remains on the surface to better target dead cells without penetrating living layers (ex vivo data). It may be used in most formulations at a neutral pH for skin. Keratolite™ is used in skin & facial care and personal care & hygiene formulations.
