Filling Spheres™ marine

Filling Spheres™ marine by BASF is an anti-wrinkle agent. They are collagen and glycosaminoglycans microspheres that fill in wrinkles and lines. When they are small and dehydrated, they penetrate the skin and swell in presence of water in the skin. Their volume is multiplied by ten. This volume change causes an almost immediate smoothing of the skin surface. They effectively reduce small wrinkles in one hour (in vivo data). These microspheres are also very good moisturizers because after remaining in the hollow of the wrinkle, they are degraded by enzymes and slowly release the water initially taken up as they hydrate. Filling Spheres™ marine is used in anti-aging and facial skin care products.
