Maltodextrin (and) Origanum Majorana Leaf Extract. Dermagenist™ by BASF is a firming and anti-aging active. It is an extract from origanum majorana leaves. It stimulates actin synthesis in fibroblasts, and thus helps the cytoskeleton to remain strong: the fibroblast regains its contractility, retrieves its strong adhesion and resumes interactions with the surrounding dermal matrix. It reactivates gene expressions and awakes cell’s epigenetic pattern acting through the inhibition of dna methylation. It helps boost collagen synthesis, functionalization and 3D organization which further improves skin density and skin firmness. Dermagenist™ is suggested for use in face care products including daily anti-aging cream, night cure for firmness and density improvement, serum treatment for deep skin restructuring and multi-restructuring cure at every skin level.
