Cylasphere® Retinol

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by BASF
Aqua (and) Butylene Glycol (and) Retinol (and) Pentylene Glycol (and) Carbomer (and) Glycine Soja Oil (and) Tocopherol (and) Acacia Senegal Gum (and) Propylene Glycol (and) Algin. Cylasphere® Retinol by BASF is a soft retinol, anti-wrinkle and whitening agent. It reduces the appearance of wrinkles with low irritant potential. They are agar microspheres produced by transacylation (a chemical reaction involving the transfer of an acyl radical) that enable the encapsulation of fragile molecules by maintaining them intact. These microspheres are biodegradable, penetrate the epidermis, are progressively degraded by skin enzymes and gradually release their content. Cylasphere® Retinol is used in facial & skin care and anti-aging products.
