C-Mate

Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate. C-Mate by BASF is a lightening agent. It is a phosphate ester of vitamin C. It releases vitamin C in the skin via enzymatic cleavage. It provides antioxidant properties and protects skin cells from environmental damage. Moreover, it helps to promote collagen formation, prevents signs of skin aging and contributes to the appearance of an even skin tone. C-Mate finds application in formulating facial-care & cleansing preparations and sun-protection, after-sun & self-tanning products.
