3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid. AXIOM 3OE-VC by Axiom Ingredients acts a powerful antioxidant. In this ‘OH’ of ascorbic acid is replaced with ‘an ethoxy group’ and thus eliminating the instability of ascorbic acid. AXIOM 3OE-VC dissolves in a variety of solvents like water, oil and alcohol and therefore could be used in a wide variety of cosmetics formulations. AXIOM 3OE-VC is also used in lightening and anti-aging skin care products.
