PVP. Plasdone™ K-29/32 polymer by {upplier} acts as a rheology modifier. It forms complexes with catechins, as well as numerous other compounds that cause tooth discoloration.

It is a stable, water-soluble polyvinylpyrrolidone that meets U.S., European and Japanese pharmacopoeia specifications for Povidone.
It forms complexes with catechins, as well as numerous other compounds that cause tooth discoloration.
The polymer can be effectively used to bind and remove stains through hydrogen bonding with chemical compounds.
Offers complexes with common staining agents to whiten teeth, reduces in vitro teeth staining from cationic antibacterials (CPC and chlorhexidine) & stannous compounds and adds lubricity.
Plasdone™ K-29/32 polymer is used in oral care formulations such as mouthwashes and toothpastes.
