It provides broad-spectrum activity against gram-positive & gram-negative bacteria, yeast and mold. It is free of paraben, formaldehyde or halogens. optiphen™ mit preservative finds application in formulating hair care products (conditioners, gels, mousses, novel stylers, shampoos, styling lotions/creams), body care, color cosmetics, face and body washes, facial care, wipes and sun care (after-sun, self-tanning and sunscreen) products. Provides excellent heat stability, work across a wide pH window and easy solubilization in water. It is designed for use in hair care & skin care leave-on & rinse-off applications and wet wipes.
