Vinyl Caprolactam/VP/Dimethylaminoethyl Methacrylate Copolymer. Gaffix™ VC-713 polymer by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a fixative. The terpolymer provides superior holding power at low solids level, even in high humidity environments. It has excellent compatibility with all types of aerosol propellants, including hydrocarbons, and requires no neutralization. Gaffix™ VC-713 polymer is used in hairsprays, gels, mousses, styling lotions/creams, novelty stylers. Sold as Copolymer VC-713 in Europe.
