Methylchloroisothiazolinone (and) Methylisothiazolinone. euxyl™ k 120 preservative by Ashland is a liquid cosmetic preservative. It is equally effective against bacteria, yeasts and molds. It is powerful even at low use level and fully effective in anionic, cationic and non-ionic systems. This cost-effective product has a very low salt content (3%). euxyl™ k 120 preservative is a typically biostatic product and can be used in leave-on (creams, lotions) as well as for neutral pH rinse-off products (shampoos, bath preparations) and wet wipes. The shelf life of the product is 18 months.
