Carthamus Tinctorius Seed Oil. All Organic Treasures Safflower Oil by All Organic Treasures acts as an anti-acne and refatting agent. It contains C16:0 palmitic acid (4-10%), C18:0 stearic acid (2-6%), C18:1 oleic acid (7-21%) and C18:2 linoleic acid (67-84%). It is a yellow oil and has a light kraut-like smell. It has drying character. It is also used to tarnish oily skin, treat acne and for infection-prone skin. Safflower oil is also used for nurturing skin around the eyes. It is available in cold pressed form. Applications include soaps, bathing oils and shower gels, anti-acne and other skin care products. All Organic Treasures Safflower Oil is DE-ÖKO-005, Kosher and COSMOS certified.
