Zea Mays Starch. MAISITA 9040 by Agrana is an aesthetic modifier, adsorber & thickener. It is produced by mashing, washing and drying of corn followed by heat-treatment to reach a low plate count. The shelf life of MAISITA 9040 is 60 months under dry conditions (max. 70 % relative humidity). It is recommended for cosmetics. It is COSMOS approved grade.
