Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Taiyo Kagaku
Polyglyceryl-20 Octadecabehenate/Hydroxystearate. TAISET OG-C(MB) by Taiyo Kagaku is an oil-soluble aesthetic modifier, non-ionic surfactant and emulsion stabilizer for high salt formulations. It is designed to deliver rheology properties and benefits while covering range of oils/waxes. It provides various textures from balm-like hardness to slightly cushioning oil to bouncy textured cream, even enabling very subtle and delicate sensorial perception.
  • It is recommended for O/W & W/O emulsions (skincare, sun care, haircare), anhydrous formulations (balm, oil-gel for cleansing, massage, etc.) and color cosmetics (lipstick, lip gloss, lip cream, etc.).
  • It offers velvety & melting texture, enchanting spreadability and smoother final touch, without causing stickiness on skin.
  • TAISET OG-C(MB) is suitable for pH range of 4-7.
  • It is an easy-to-handle thixotropic thickener with lower melting point, faster and higher viscosity recovery, allowing less color change and more stability.
  • It can be fully compatible with hydrocarbons, ester oils, triglycerides, silicone oils, vegetable oils and UV filters by co-formulating auxiliary ingredients having hydroxyl groups (oils, surfactants, polyols etc.)
  • It is PEG-, gluten- & cruelty-free, Vegan, RSPO MB certified and REACH compliant.
