ADEKA NOL OG

Caprylyl Glycol. ADEKA NOL OG by ADEKA is a multifunctional antimicrobial with viscosity regulating & excellent wetting properties and broad efficacy against microorganisms. It functions as a stabilizer, effective humectant & emollient. It offers excellent efficacy and no pH restrictions.

The antimicrobial activity of caprylyl glycol can be used as a secondary benefit to complement and support the preservation of customer’s cosmetic formulations.
The combination of wetting agents with organic acids allows working even at higher pH (6-6.5).
Caprylyl glycol's flexible nature allows it to be incorporated into a variety of formats while serving consumer needs.
It shows improved water solubility using DPG and can be expected to show synergistic effect.
Caprylyl glycol is a skin conditioning agent that adds moisturization and also functions as a preservative booster (Dosage:0.3-1.0%).
It further shows functionality in emulsions, beyond its antimicrobial efficacy.
Due to its amphiphilic structure, it lowers the surface tension between water and oil phase and thereby supports the emulsification process.
It provides deodorizing efficacy, hydrating, co-emulsifying & co-solubilizing benefits and emulsion efficacy improvement.
It can be useful for preservative-free formulations.
ADEKA NOL OG is used in skin care and make-up cosmetics such as moisturizers, sunscreens, cleansers, lip-gloss and foundation.
Also, used in face masks and creams & lotions.
