Andisil® SF 2

Dimethicone. Andisil® SF 2 by AB Specialty Silicones is a linear siloxane-based volatile active carrier. This ingredient is recommended for medium volatility. In hair care products, it improves wet combing. It is used as delivery agent for hair care actives. It is suitable for clear formulations. It mimics the properties of cyclic siloxanes providing lubrication, spreadability, emolliency and water resistance to lotions and creams when used in skin care applications. Andisil® SF 2 finds application in shampoos, leave-in & rinse-off conditioners, styling treatment, antiperspirant/deodorant, cleansers, color cosmetics, serums and sun care applications. The shelf life of this ingredient is 12 months.
