Andisil® SF 10

Dimethicone. Andisil® SF 10 by AB Specialty Silicones is a low viscosity, non-reactive, polydimethyl siloxane. In hair care products, it offers anti-frizz, active carrier and conditioning benefits. Also, displays low build up and soft/suppler feel properties. It is suitable for dry and damaged hair. It improves texture and dry & wet combing. It provides water resistance and improved spreading of actives without weighing the hair down, even at high molecular weights due to the low surface tension of silicones. In skin care products, it displays film forming, cushion, lubrication, moisturizing, skin protectant, tack reduction, water repellency and wash-off resistance. It is suitable for clear formulations. It is recommended where a light silky feel is desired. Andisil® SF 10 finds application in creams & lotions, shampoos, leave-in & rinse-off conditioners, styling treatment, antiperspirant/deodorant, cleansers, color cosmetics, serums and sun care applications. The shelf life of this ingredient is 12 months.
