9-Cycloheptadecen-1-one,(Z)-. Acts as a fragrance ingredient. It has a warm, sensuous animal and musky note; very powerful and diffusive. Extremely tenacious, it has the ability to exalt and fix all kinds of perfumes. It harmonizes particularly well with floral, aldehydic, chypre, oriental and animal notes. It is indispensable for the reconstitution of civet. Contains nostabilizer. It shows tenacity for 2 weeks on a smelling strip. It is used in fine fragrances, shampoo, shower gel, soap, etc.
