Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil. Refined Sesame Oil EP Grade by Sophim is an emollient. It provides moisturizing, skin barrier repairing and hydrating properties. It softens the skin, nourishes and supports the microcirculation on the scalp. It limits trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL) and helps reduce cell damage caused by free radicals. It is composed of essential fatty acids (omega 6), vitamin E or tocopherols, sesamolin and lecithin. It is an ideal anti-aging ingredient. Used in cleansers, body and hair care applications.
