Glutathione. AC-GSH (USP standard) by SOHO ANECO Chemicals is a major cellular antioxidant. It can be used for its whitening effect on the skin (lightening of dark acne scars, freckles, dark underarms, age spots, etc.), reversing the melanin's metabolism turning dark pigmentations (eumelanin) into light pigmentations (phaeomelanin). It is a natural compound made in the body from the amino acids glutamic acid, cysteine, and glycine. This ingredient is crucial for scavenging damaging free radicals. AC-GSH (USP standard) finds applications in cosmetic applications. The shelf life of this ingredient is 24 months.
