Dihydrocholesteryl Oleate (and) Cholesteryl Nonanoate (and) Dihydrocholesteryl Butyrate (and) Cholesteryl Butyrate (and) Phytosteryl Oleate. Ecolano™ CLC-678 by NIPPON FINE CHEMICAL is an emollient and moisturizing agent with skin barrier function & lamellar forming ability. It is a premix of 5 sterol esters. This coloration liquid crystal ester color changes by temperature. It gives vivid and glittering appearance to formula. It provides moisture retention. It is highly stable cholesteric liquid crystals. It enables to develop formulation with interesting appearance using a coloring reaction. Ecolano™ CLC-678 finds application in cosmetic applications. It can be used as a quasi-drug product. It is listed in IECIC 2014.
