Hexamidine Diisethionate. MinaSolve™ Hexam by Minasolve is a cationic, mild antimicrobial, broad-spectrum standalone preservative, sanitizer, anti-dandruff- and antiseptic agent. It belongs to the class of membrane-active microbicides.
  • It offers efficient protection and long-lasting skin moisturizing effect.
  • It exhibits good cutaneous and mucous tolerance.
  • It is produced by a proprietary process that avoids the presence of toxic solvents (such as chloroform, dichloroethane, benzene, toluene, xylene).
  • It is a palm oil-free, stable ingredient that does not contain, nor release formaldehyde or any other substance of concern.
  • It is compatible with anionic ingredients.
  • It is best formulated with non-ionic thickeners, e.g. non-surface treated cellulose & cellulose derivatives, non-ionic natural gums or polyethylene glycol-based thickeners.
  • MinaSolve™ Hexam can be used in sensitive skin- & hair care, anti-dandruff products, oral- & eye care, make-up, toiletries, baby care, wet wipes, and products for scalp & mucous areas (intimate care).
  • It is recommended for oil in water (O/W) and water in oil (W/O) emulsions.
  • It is globally approved.
