Glycerin (and) Aqua (and) Epilobium Angustifolium Flower/Leaf/ Stem Extract. CANADIAN WILLOWHERB™ 5C PF by Lucas Meyer Cosmetics (IFF) rapidly soothes the skin and reduces redness. This preservative-free, multifunctional & ecofriendly ingredient displays fast-relief of skin irritations. It is effective as a free radical scavenger & healing burns. It contains bioactive molecules such as oenothein B which has 5-a-reductase inhibitory activity, antioxidant and anti-bacterial properties. It shows strong antibacterial activity on P. acnes growth contributing to a better acne control. It reduces the formation of free radicals like superoxide and peroxyl, thus reducing damages enduced by oxidative stress. It shows better results than the reference anti-irritant agent hydrocortisone. This ingredient reduces skin redness induced by UV exposure. A reduction in blemishes and skin is clearer in just 4 weeks. The acne spots are less visible for a mattified, smoother, and healthier looking skin.
