PEG-8 Distearate. HALLSTAR® PEG 400 DS by Hallstar is an emulsifier (O/W), emollient, opacifying agent and conditioning agent. This biodegradable & plant derived/vegetal-based ingredient is made from the reaction of triple-pressed grade stearic acid and polyethylene glycol for defined composition. HALLSTAR® PEG 400 DS is used in antiperspirants, after-sun skin care, deodorants, facial color cosmetics, foot care, hair conditioners, hand & body care, shampoos, shaving products and styling aids.
