Glyceryl Distearate. HALLSTAR® GDS by Hallstar is a bodying- & pearlizing agent and thickener (non-aqueous). This plant derived/vegetal-based and biodegradable ingredient is the esterification product of vegetable-derived triple-pressed grade stearic acid and glycerin. HALLSTAR® GDS is used in oil-in-water emulsions, cleansing wipes, daily wear sun care, facial cleansers, facial color cosmetics, facial skin care and foot care. Also, used in hand & body- & lip care, liquid hand soaps and shower gels/bodywashes.
