Garcinia Indica Seed Butter. Biochemica® KOKUM BUTTER ULTRA by Hallstar is a bodying agent, emollient, emulsion stabilizing agent, thickener, moisturizing and skin hydration agent. This biodegradable, natural & plant derived/vegetal-based ingredient offers dermal barrier function restoration, feel modification/enhancement and dermal moisture content balancing. It is obtained from the fruit of the kokum. It possesses uniform triglyceride composition and consists of up to 80% of stearic-oleic-stearic (SOS) triglycerides. It is solid at room temperature but slowly melts on contact with the skin, producing a non-oily emolliency, making it ideal for lipsticks and balms. It exhibits excellent emollient properties and high oxidative stability which may assist emulsion integrity. It prevents drying of the skin and development of wrinkles, reduces degeneration of skin cells and restores skin flexibility. It reduces greasiness and stickiness and provides better spreadability. Biochemica® KOKUM BUTTER ULTRA is used in after-sun skin care, bar soaps, facial skin-, foot, hand-, body- & lip care, hair conditioners and styling aids.
