Gelest Ultramarine Blue SR

Ultramarines (CI 77007) (and) Trimethylsiloxysilicate. Gelest Ultramarine Blue SR by Gelest is a super resistant treated pigment. It is coated with a hydroxyl-terminated silsesquioxane network that improves adhesion to skin and hair. It improves wear, skin adhesion and compressibility. It shows water repellency, low oil absorption and forms high solids dispersions. It is hydrophobic in nature yet not overly sensitive to oils including sebum. It is well suited for use in foundation, lip products and long-wearing eye area formulations like mascara, eyeliner & pressed powder eye shadow. Gelest Ultramarine Blue SR has a shelf life of 3 years.
