DOWSIL™ 2-2078 Fluid

Aminopropyl Phenyl Trimethicone. DOWSIL™ 2-2078 Fluid by Dow is liquid amino phenyl silicone fluid. It acts as a pigment dispersion aid. It offers heat and color protection for hair exposed to hair dryers, curling irons and other harsh heat treatments. It is a non-volatile, liquid amino phenyl silicone resin. It provides sensory enhancement, superior long-lasting shine/gloss & luster to the hair, alignment, straightening enhancement that smoothes curly, frizz hair as well as mild conditioning for dull hair or hair in need of protection. It offers high pH stability, substantivity and enhanced fragrance delivery in skincare formulations. It protects hair from damage, breakage due to hairdryers, curling irons & other harsh heat treatments and protects color fading from shampoo washes. It is suitable for water-based & anhydrous formulations and stable in alkaline formulations. DOWSIL™ 2-2078 Fluid finds application in formulating leave-in, styling hair products like shine sprays, creams, lotions, cuticle coats & pomades, relaxers, permanent colorants, rinse-off formulas (shampoos & conditioners), skin creams, lipsticks and nail varnishes. It has a shelf-life of 720 days.
