Cellulose Gum. Cekol® 700 by Nouryon acts as a thickening, stabilizing and dispersing agent. It offers excellent water retaining and film-forming properties. It is a water-soluble polymer derived from wood and cotton cellulose by introducing carboxymethyl groups on the cellulose backbone. It has the ability to impart viscosity to aqueous solutions. It is pseudoplastic by nature and can have either thixotropic or non-thixotropic rheology. Cekol® 700 is recommended for use in toothpaste and oral care products.
