Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate. Hostapon® CCG by Clariant is a mild, anioinic, amino acid-based surfactant. Acts as a hydrophilic co-emulsifier in O/W emulsions.

Exhibits good skin compatibility, moderate resistance to hard water and very low potential of VOC.
It is a cold processable grade and based on natural raw materials.
It imparts a very pleasant feel on the skin, has vegetal origin, excellent biodegradability and is free of preservatives.
It has very good foaming behaviour and improves the dermatological characteristics of surfactant formulations.
Provides no irritation, no tears and no damage to skin lipids.
It significantly reduces water & energy consumption at the end consumer level due to easy rinse-off.
It shows marked surface and interfacial activity.
Used for ultra-mild formulations, shampoos, shower gels, liquid soaps and cleansing lotions.
Hostapon® CCG is also used for hair-, bath- and baby care products.
It is Ecocert and COSMOS approved.
