Sacred Patch®

Sacred Patch® by BASF demonstrates outstanding moisturization results, soothes sensitive skin and helps to stimulate the release of the wellness mediator oxytocin. It is based on micro-patch technology and provides a positive emotional effect immediately after application. It is 99.2% of natural origin according to ISO 16128. It consists of the natural bio-polysaccharides pullulan, alginate and hyaluronic acid. The polysaccharide also helps to stimulate the release of oxytocin, a neuropeptide and wellness mediator. It shows significantly reduced inflammation by 93% compared to untreated control. The active thus demonstrably helps to comfort irritated skin. It forms a protective, comforting mesh on the surface of sensitive skin to prevent water evaporation. It, therefore, helps to increase the skin’s natural water retention capacity and keeps it hydrated. Sacred Patch® has been proven to impart immediate moisturization of the upper layers of the epidermis, lasting until at least 6 hours after application.
