Yeast Extract. AC Phytocoll PF by Active Concepts is a direct animal collagen replacement, 85.00% biodegradable, moisturizing agent. It is produced by lysing yeast cells and isolating the hydroxyproline-rich glycoproteins through the use of molecular sieves, a natural alternative form of collagen. It duplicates the aesthetics of mammalian collagen while delivering enhanced levels of moisture to the skin or hair without the associated issues of using an animal-based product. It offers enhanced moisturization, conditioning and cellular metabolism. It is formulated as a direct 1:1 replacement for animal-derived collagen products. AC Phytocoll PF is used in hair-, skin- and decorative cosmetics applications. It is free from GMO, ethoxylation, irradiation, sulphonation and preservatives.
