Andisil® SP 4414

PEG 12 Dimethicone. Andisil® SP 4414 by AB Specialty Silicones is polyether copolymer-based emulsifying, surface tension depressant, wetting and co-solubilizing agent. It provides softness and lubricity to lotions and creams. Also, improves foam stability and density when foaming is desired. It is recommended for hair care applications in need of a surface tension reducer and/or foam booster. This ingredient imparts silky, supple texture and improves wet/dry combability without build up after repeated use. In skin care products, it offers foam stabilization, moisturization, organic compatibility, skin protectant, spreadability and tack reduction. It is suitable for clear formulations. Andisil® SP 4414 is used in cleansers, color cosmetics, sun care, antiperspirant/deodorant and shaving products. Also, used in shampoos, styling treatments and leave-in conditioners. The shelf life of this ingredient is 12 months.
