Andisil® SF 1405

Cyclotetrasiloxane (and) Dimethiconol. Andisil® SF 1405 by AB Specialty Silicones combines volatile siloxane with high molecular weight gum providing excellent water resistance. In skin care products, it provides long wear of active on skin, unique skin feel, cushion, film forming, lubrication, organic compatibility, skin protectant, spreadability, water repellency and wash off resistance. It is suitable for clear formulations. Whereas, in hair care products, it offers anti-frizz, conditioning, ease of formulation, soft/supple feel and low residue/light build up. It improves texture and wet & dry combing and prevents split ends. It is suitable for dry & damaged hair and anhydrous formulations. Andisil® SF 1405 is used in cleansers, creams & lotions, color cosmetics, serums, sun care, leave-in conditioners and styling treatments. The shelf life of this ingredient is 12 months.
